Diagnostic Mode (Load Test) Instructions

  1. The washer must be empty and the controls must be in the off state.
  2. Press the SPIN SPEED and SOIL LEVEL buttons simultaneously.
  3. Press the POWER button, while the above condition. Then buzzer will sound twice.
  4. Press the START/PAUSE button repeatedly to cycle through the test modes.

Unlock Control Panel

If the buttons on your Kenmore washing machine are not responding it's possible that the control lock mode is enabled.

  1. Press and hold the {Control Lock} button for 5 seconds to unlock / lock.

Error Code Meanings

  • 1E - WATER INLET ERROR - Correct water level is not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied or it does not reach the preset water level within 25 minutes.
  • UE - UNBALANCE ERROR - Machine is not balanced well.
  • OE / 0E - DRAIN ERROR - Not fully drained within 10 minutes.
  • FE - OVER FLOW ERROR - Water is detected as overflowing.
  • PE - PRESSURE SENEOR ERROR - The SENSOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY is malfunctioning.
  • dE - DOOR OPEN ERROR - Door is not reported as being closed, potentially the door switch is malfunctioning,
  • tE - HEATING ERROR - Thermistor is malfunctioning.
  • LE - LOCKED MOTOR ERROR - Hall sensor is malfunctioning or the motor harness assembly is not connected properly.
  • EE - EEPROM ERROR - EEPROM module is faulty.
  • PF - POWER FAILURE - The washer experienced a power failure.
