Factory Reset Instructions

1. Power off your Amazon Fire with the Power key.
2. Hold down Volume Up + Power key together.
3. As soon as Amazon logo appears, release Power key.
4. The device should enter to the Recovery Mode. You can release the Volume Up button now.
5. Use Volume keys to navigate and Power key to select wipe data/factory reset.

Factory Reset using Menus

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings.
2. Tap Device Options.
3. Tap Reset to Factory Defaults.
4. Tap Reset to confirm the factory reset.

Recovery Mode

1. Make sure the tablet is turned off.
2. Hold down Volume Up + Power key together.
3. As soon as Amazon logo appears, release Power key.
4. The device should enter to the Recovery Mode. You can release the Volume Up button now.
5. Use Volume keys to navigate and Power key to navigate.
