Hitachi TV Service Menu Instructions

Most of our Hitachi Service Menu methods require the use of an original remote, typically you can not do it with just the buttons on the front of the set. If you no longer have your remote or have damaged it, we recommend that you purchase a Hitachi Remote before trying to enter the service menu.

Method 1

1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press the {MENU} {MENU} {8} {SELECT} buttons on the remote.
3. The Service Menu will be displayed.
4. Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to select items.
5. Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change the data.
6. Press the {EXIT} button to exit the Service Menu.

Method 2

1. Turn the TV off.
2. Press and hold the {INPUT} button on the TV then press {POWER}.
3. Hold both buttons until the TV powers on with the Service Menu displayed.
4. Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to select items.
5. Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change the data.
6. Press the {EXIT} button to exit the Service Menu.

Method 3

1. Turn the TV off.
2. Press {POWER} & {INPUT} buttons on the TV for more than 3 sec.
3. The Service Menu will be displayed.
4. The letter "P" indicates picture and "A" indicates audio.
5. Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to select items.
6. Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change the data.
7. Press the {EXIT} key to exit the Service Menu.

Method 4

1. Turn on the TV.
2. Select CATV mode.
3. Press SOURCE
4. Enter in sequence 3195.
5. To exit press "power off"

Projector Service Menu

1. Press the {MENU} & {RESET} buttons and then press the {RESET} button again and hold it for at least 5 seconds.
2. The Service Menu will be displayed.
3. To exit, turn the Projector Off.
