Factory Reset Instructions

1. Make sure the dishwasher door is slightly open and the unit is turned on.
2. Press "Heated Dry" "Normal" "Heated Dry" "Normal" "Heated Dry" "Normal" in quick succession.
3. Whirlpool dishwasher should now reset.

Self Test Mode

Sometimes entering the self test mode on a whirlpool dishwasher will clear old error codes and return the unit to full working order.

Method 1

1. Start with the dishwasher turned on.
2. Press any 3 keys in the sequence 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3 with no more than 1 second between key presses.
3. Dishwasher will now be in self test mode.
