Zanussi Washing Machine

Enable Diagnostic / Test Mode

  1. Switch off the appliance.
  2. Press and hold down START/PAUSE and any one of the option buttons simultaneously.
  3. Holding down both buttons, switch the appliance on by turning the programme selector one position to the right (clockwise).
  4. Continue to hold down the START/PAUSE and option buttons until the LED begins to flash (at least 2 seconds).
  5. Then turn the main selector knob slowly to the 10th position from OFF and the End of Cycle and the Start/Pause light should start to flash.
  6. You are now in diagnostic mode - You need to count the flashes from each light ( End light first ). This will give you the error code.

Error Code Explanation

The error is displayed by a repeated flashing sequence of the two LEDs (0.4 seconds ON, 0.4 seconds OFF, with a pause of 2.5 seconds between each sequence).

  • End of cycle indicator indicates the first digit of the fault code.
  • Start/Pause indicator shows the second digit of the fault code.

If an LED flashes more than 9 times then it's converted to a letter as so:

  • 10 flashes = A
  • 11 flashes = b
  • 12 flashes = C
  • 13 flashes = d
  • 14 flashes = E
  • 15 flashes = F
